1936 | Packard eight

The Packard Twelfth Series One-Twenty is an automobile produced by the Packard Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan, from 1935 to 1937 and from 1939 to 1941. The model name One-Twenty was derived from the wheelbase.

This 1936 Packard One Twenty convertible coupe (two-seater) was delivered new to CITY LINE Motors Inc. and spent its time in the USA before being purchased and brought to Germany in 2020. The car impresses with its bright yellow paint with light brown upholstery and numerous chrome accents. It is powered by a 282ci inline eight-cylinder L-head engine and a three-speed manual transmission. Features include chrome bumpers, Trippe headlights, a cormorant-shaped hood ornament, running boards, a light brown soft top, a jump seat, a trunk, a heater, and a radio.

A comprehensive vehicle overhaul took place in 2024. The engine was completely overhauled, the carburetor was cleaned, the radiator was replaced, the brakes and shock absorbers were overhauled, and much more. All work was carried out by the highly renowned Zinke restoration workshop in Zwönitz. Invoices and pictures are available.

The One-Twenty is therefore in top condition and can be driven immediately. The car has already been taxed, was registered once in Germany, and can be registered and enjoyed immediately with a German license plate. The title is also still present. The 19% VAT is deductible and particularly interesting for foreign buyers, as VAT can be refunded. As we are looking to downsize our collection, this Packard is now available for purchase.
