Description This small MGB of Californian origin is owned by a frequent traveler, passionate about travel and especially the Nordic countries! It is the latest MGB manufactured and this one is extremely reliable. The car has to its credit two travel in Finland and Sweden of 4,500 km each. The mechanics are monitored and maintained: all engine peripherals were changed in April 2021 as well as the timing chain. many parts are new namely: transmission shaft, rack, muffler, ball joints, LED headlights, lights, watches, fuel gauge, delco transmitter with magnetic sensor, carburetor, radiator, expansion tank, fuel pump water, master cylinder, brake servo, 2 new electric fan motors. The inspection is validated. Engine oil and filter changed in May 2021 when reassembling the timing chain and its two drive gears as well as its hydraulic tensioner. Crankshaft outlet oil seal changed in May 2021, no more leaks. 2021 coolant changed in May after rebuilding the radiator. Brake fluid changed in May 2021 after hose change by aviation types Axle oil: changed in May 2021 after changing the 4 cups (anti-clong) of the differential Gear oil changed in May 2021. Air filter changed in May 2021 On the bodywork, work was carried out on the fenders and wheel arches with new sheet metal parts. The chrome sill trims are there to protect the car from the spray of the road and in no way hide the misery. The undersides are healthy but to be monitored over time by anti-corrosion treatments to preserve the chassis over time. No rust in the trunk, floor or side members is to be observed. The soft top is in excellent condition, the brown upholstery is perfect as is the dashboard; everything is working. The carpets are clean, the car has seat belts and a car radio.
On the road, at the wheel, we are very pleasantly surprised by the suspension and the steering, which are firm and testify to a perfect car in terms of its running gear. The mechanics do not slam, the engine speed is calm, the car exudes health. Post-1974 models are always rewarding to own and drive as they offer a few advantages over previous cars, including more capacity cooling, better brakes, and less years of wear and tear. The car is in a collection vehicle registration document. A complete file of invoices, maintenance advice, tips is supplied with the car with user manuals. A box full of spare parts will be supplied with the car. Our opinion Undoubtedly, an MGB to buy for those who want to ride. In addition, with the chrome bumpers, it looks very classy in this livery.
