We all secretly dream of building our own car. Who however manages to carry out their dream? Well, the guy who created this one did! This is an absolute one-off racer based on a Fiat Topolino. Over 2,000 hours were spent in bringing this special TNG to life. The Topolino chassis was taken back to bare metal and adjusted in order to be able to receive the hand-beaten bodywork. The car was then completely assembled from scratch, now looking pristine. The high-level quality hand-beaten panels perfectly align, which is no mean feat with hand-built cars. The car then was sprayed in an all-over lovely deep red paint. The wheels have been painted in a beige colour, forming a striking contrast to the red paintwork. The interior is nice and spartan with two new seats. The car has a 600cc 4-cylinder engine with a Weber carburettor. The car weighs next to nothing and despite the modest engine, she is nothing if not nibble. To build a car like this requires a substantial investment, the likes of which you could barely imagine. Self-building a car is many times more expensive than buying one of the peg. To put it another way, this is the ideal car for the person who simply can’t stand the thought next door’s neighbour coming home with the same car. That will most definitely never happen with this TNG
