Description
Rolls-Royce had been very successful with its small model series since 1923, starting with the 20 HP model. Further development took place via the 20/25 HP to the 25/30 HP, which was launched on the market in 1936. As the bodies became more luxurious and therefore heavier, the engine output had to be adjusted. A total of 1,201 chassis of the 25/30 HP model were delivered. Various specialised companies built the bodies to customer specifications.
Our Rolls-Royce 25/30 HP Coupé was built by James Young in Bomley, formerly in the county of Kent. The bodywork is luxurious. When the large sunroof and windows are open, you almost feel like you’re sitting in a convertible. An original radio and original on-board tools complete the luxury interior. The built-in overdrive makes the classic car suitable for travelling. The history as well as a valuation report and documentation of the restoration are available. It is always impressive to see the outstanding craftsmanship that was achieved back then. Anyone who appreciates lifestyle can easily fall in love with this Rolls-Royce classic.
