History of the Model and This Example
An icon of British Grand Touring, this 1972 MG B GT is presented in exceptional condition. Fully restored and fitted with numerous upgrades, it combines the timeless charm of Pininfarina design with modern reliability and driving enjoyment.
Launched in 1965, the MG B GT is the coupe version of the celebrated roadster. Its design, enhanced by a practical tailgate, was the work of the prestigious Italian coachbuilder Pininfarina. More rigid, quieter and more versatile than the convertible, the GT quickly established itself as a benchmark among accessible sporting coupes, offering the pleasure of driving an authentic English sports car with added comfort.
The example we are offering is particularly desirable. It benefited from a full "concours" restoration in 2013, ensuring a sound base and a high-quality finish. More recently, in 2023, a new paint finish in the iconic "British Racing Green" shade was applied, restoring its full lustre. The black leather interior, understated and elegant, perfectly completes this classic and sought-after configuration. Meticulously maintained and equipped with numerous costly options, this MG B GT is ready to take to the road over any distance.
