Land Rover 88 series 2, year 1958.

Colour off-white combined with light beige upholstery in the front, black vinyl upholstery in the back, and black rubber floor covering. Beige soft-top.

This beautiful and very original looking Land Rover 88 was sold new in the Netherlands.

The current owner bought the car over 45 years ago. After purchase, the car was extensively restored to its current very good and beautiful condition.

The original 2-Litre engine was replaced by a more powerful 2.25 Litre version from a series 3, otherwise the car is completely according to the series 2 specifications.

This great Land Rover 88 drives excellently, the powerful four-cylinder petrol engine runs smoothly and the gearbox with long lever shifts as it should. The interior is simple to the point of Spartan, but that is appropriate for a functional workhorse like the Land Rover.

The recessed grille with the two headlights is characteristic of the early Land Rover models.

The spare wheel on the hood, the fold-out steps at the doors and the step at the back also indicate that this is a classic Land Rover.

In the back of this Land Rover there is a spare wheel mounted, this can easily be removed. This Land Rover breathes adventure, the great thing is that this car is equipped with four extra seats in the back so that seven people can fully enjoy the ride, the car, and the company.

This is a great Land Rover 88 in very good condition, a beautiful car for adventurers who do not always want to venture on the beaten track.
