General model history:

The Iso Rivolta GL 300 is a handcrafted Grand Tourer from the renowned ISO manufactory in Bresso near Milan. Of this first model, only a few hundred copies were built - each surviving car is correspondingly exclusive. A total of 800 of the general type were built.

The Iso brand was originally created through the development of the legendary Isetta , which were later sold under licence to BMW. Big names were chosen for the Iso Rivolta: None other than Giotto Bizzarrini - the man behind the Ferrari 250 GTO and later the Bizzarrini 5300 GT - was responsible for the design of this vehicle.

The Body design comes from Bertone and elegantly combines Italian restraint with sporty lines. The interior is refined and high-quality, fully lined with leather and designed for comfortable travelling.

Technically, the Rivolta is based on a torsion-resistant box frame, with Independent suspension all round, a de Dion independent suspension and Internal servo-assisted disc brakes on all four wheels. The strong 5.4-litre V8 from Chevrolet (Corvette) with 300 HP and mechanical 4-speed gearbox ensures effortless power delivery and the typical, rich V8 sound. At the same time, the US drive offers the advantage of a problem-free parts supply and simple maintenance.
