The company Route 66 Auctions emerged from the passion and hobby of Ernest Praag, owner of E&R Classics. E&R Classics is one of the largest classic car dealers in Europe and has delivered over 6000 classic cars to customers worldwide. In 2008 I started E&R Classics. We have served a lot of happy customers these past 16 years and have been asked multiple times if we could organize online classic car auctions. Many people entertain the excitement of buying at an auction.

In the summer of 2018 my wife and I drove a 1963 Jaguar E-Type on the beautiful Belgian N66 from Stavelot to Huy. During that wonderful ride and with the demand of our customers in mind, the company Route 66 Auctions was born. The name is a tribute to this beautiful Belgian national route.

Being in the classic car business for over 16 years, the Route 66 Auctions team has the utmost knowledge and experience in selling classic cars, youngtimers and super cars worldwide.
