History
This Volvo P1800S comes from the late 1966 production run (chassis number 17.9xx) and belongs to the 1967 model year. It was first registered on January 9th, 1968 on Tenerife, carrying the original island license plate TF 46668, which still exists today.
The car is first owner and remained in the same family for decades. It spent its entire active life on Tenerife before the family brought it back to Germany in 2002.
Technical Condition
The P1800S has been mechanically maintained throughout its life. The classic five‑speed gearbox with overdrive operates smoothly, and both engine and suspension run reliably. Tyres, shock absorbers and safety‑relevant components have been renewed over time, always with preservation and reliability in mind.
Condition
The dry climate of Tenerife preserved the car exceptionally well: rust‑free bodywork, hardly exposed to water, and an outstanding structural base.
Over the decades, minor cosmetic repairs and small touch‑ups were carried out. The red interior is in excellent condition and gives the car a distinctive character.
The vehicle is currently stored in a garage.
