Description:
The Porsche 911 of the 993 series is the fourth generation of the classic 911 and was produced from the end of 1993. The 993 is considered the last ‘real’ 911 with an air-cooled boxer engine before Porsche switched to water cooling in 1997 with its successor, the 996. As such, the 993 occupies a special position - technically mature, with improved handling thanks to the new multi-link rear axle and the installed 6-speed manual gearbox, but still with the classic, purist 911 characteristics.
According to the available new car invoice, the 911 Carrera Coupé presented here was delivered to its first owner on 04.01.94 via the Porsche Centre Frankfurt. The vehicle remained in first-hand ownership for over 20 years until it was acquired by a high-calibre collection in the Stuttgart area in 2017. The original bill of sale and all on-board documents including service booklet as well as extensive maintenance invoices are available. A comprehensive service was recently carried out. A rare opportunity to acquire an exceptionally well-preserved 993 Carrera Coupé from the first year of production of the legendary 993 model series, the last model with a classic air-cooled boxer engine and the first version without VarioRam, much sought-after by purists. This vehicle is not only a milestone in Porsche history, but also an outstanding collector's item - with just 25,078 kilometres on the clock and only two previous owners.
