We recently purchased this 540 hp future classic in Japan. Thanks to the favorable climate, this R231-series SL has been exceptionally well preserved. It is completely rust-free, even underneath and in the wheel arches! The Japanese are known for taking extremely good care of their possessions, and this AMG is a perfect example of that.
The car is in excellent condition, both inside and out, and still looks like new. All original booklets and full maintenance history are present. What makes this car unique is that it is considered a timeless classic: perfect to enjoy as a convertible in summer, but also ideal for winter use thanks to its hardtop roof.
