With only 50k miles from new and 4 owners, this ’84 280SL is a beautifully preserved example of the ever-popular R107 SL.

Historic tax class, making this car exempt from ULEZ (and other clean air zones), road tax and MoT.

Supplied new by Rawsons, MB main dealers in Kent, and has remained in Kent throughout its 41 years.

First registered to a Mr Kemp for only 4 months, but to its second owner, a Mrs Casey, for 17 years. Mr Pelham had the car for 2 years before trading it in to Aston Martin, Sevenoaks, from which its last owner bought the car 22 years ago.

Finished in Champagne metallic with the factory option of a contrasting hardtop in Manganese Brown metallic. The hood too is dark brown fabric and inside, it’s tan cloth.

It was optioned with an automatic gearbox, alloy wheels, headlamp wash/wipe, fire extinguisher, walnut wood and a Blaupunkt stereo.

All original books and manuals, including the service book. MoTs going back 35 years and extensive service history. Recently had major service with transmission fluid, differential oil and coolant replaced. Wax treated underneath too.
