Accompanied by an extensive documentation file, including a copy of its original Carta di Circolazione Autovettura. It was delivered new in 1972 in the Venice region (Italy), where it remained for many years. From 1987 to 1998, the car was owned by Stefania Grande, who resided near Treviso. In 1998, the car was exported to Austria, where it underwent a restoration in Vienna. The restoration was completed in 1999 and is nicely documented with invoices and some pictures.
The Austrian owner was clearly a passionate enthusiast, participating in numerous rallies with the car: including the Circuito di Conegliano (2001, 2003), Coupes des Alpes (2002), Tulip Rallye (2003, 2005), Alpenfahrt (2005), Trieste–Vienna (2006), 1000 Minuten Klassik (2007), Rallye Hamburg–Berlin (2010), and the Voralpen Classic (2011).
Throughout this period, the car was well maintained, with supporting invoices. In 2010, four new reproduction Cromodora CD28 wheels were installed, along with new Weber carburettors. Additionally, an aluminium protection plate (sump guard) was fitted.
In 2013, the car was sold to another gentleman from Hamburg, Germany, who also participated in several events, including the Bodensee Klassik (2014, 2015) and the Sauerland Klassik (2015). Between 2014 and 2015, approximately 20.000,- Euro was spent on mechanical work, among others a gearbox rebuilt. These invoices are also on file.
The car remained with the same owner until 2020, when it was acquired by the current Dutch owner, who participated in the Eifel Rallye in 2022.
The body presents well with good panel fit. The interior is well set up and functional for historic events with good seats. The car starts and runs very well and a test drive confirms the overall presentation with a nice setup and handling and strong performance with a smooth gear change.
The car is offered with a large history file and workshop manuals and also its original correct interior and bumpers. It performs really well and offers strong driving performance! This car has been driven in quite some rallies and is ready to do it again!

Model history
The Lancia Fulvia 1600 HF Series II represents the ultimate evolution of Lancia’s iconic front-wheel-drive coupé - an authentic rally machine that perfectly combines Italian design, advanced engineering and motorsport pedigree.
Introduced as the final and most developed iteration of the Fulvia HF range, the Series II benefits from continuous refinement both mechanically and visually. Its purposeful stance, characterised by the later ‘Fanalino’ headlight configuration - distinguishing it from the earlier ‘Fanalone’ models - reflects its competition origins.
At its heart lies Lancia’s legendary narrow-angle V4 engine, producing an eager and characterful power delivery through twin Weber carburettors.
Combined with its lightweight construction and finely balanced front-wheel-drive layout, the 1600 HF delivers an exceptionally engaging driving experience, defined by sharp steering, remarkable grip, and a willingness to be driven enthusiastically on both road and rally stage.
The Fulvia 1600 HF’s place in motorsport history is firmly established, most notably with Lancia’s victory in the 1972 International Rally Championship. It proved to be one of the most successful front-wheel-drive rally cars of its era, laying the foundation for Lancia’s future dominance in international rallying.
