1969 | Jaguar E-Type

Exceptionally well restored Jaguar E-Type Coupe Series II in sought-after color combination

First delivered in 1969 via the British Leyland dealer in New York / USA, probably directly to California - there is still a California Highway Patrol sticker from 1974 on the windshield.

The E-Type was registered in Iowa from 1997 to 2010.

The current owner bought the E-Type in London, Ontario / Canada at the beginning of 2010 and moved it to Germany in 2011. While still in Canada, he had the E-Type extensively restored by the renowned company RM Auto Restoration Inc. in Blenheim, Ontario / Canada, costing around 40,000 CAD / 30,000 EUR. Further work then took place in Germany. A total of around 76,000 EUR was invested:
 

• Complete engine overhaul
• Interior completely new
• New paintwork
• New tank & hoses
• Improved carburetor system
• Etc.

Despite the extensive work, the E-Type meets the matching numbers criteria. It drives fantastic and sounds great.
