Beautiful DS 21 5-speed with extensive history, including documents, photos, and MOT forms. It has been in the Netherlands since 1999 and has been in the possession of its last Dutch owner for a long time. He is a true Citroën enthusiast and has meticulously maintained the DS. Everything that needed to be done has been replaced or improved. A truly well-maintained, unrestored enthusiast's car.

The DS was delivered new in "beige Tholonet AC 086," and like many classic cars, the body has been resprayed. About four years ago, the Dutch owner commissioned the repainting of his beloved Pike in the original DS color "beige Vanneau AC 083," and the quality of the paintwork is excellent. The body is beautifully straight, and all the original details have been carefully maintained. Many stainless steel and chrome parts have been replaced in the past, and the bumpers appear to be original. The chrome is neat with minor signs of wear. The hollow areas have been treated, and I couldn't find any rust. The doors close perfectly, and the seams are also in perfect condition. A tow bar was recently installed.

The Pallas interior is a beautiful time capsule. The spacious seats and the backseat have the original "Tabac" leather upholstery, which has developed a bit of patina over the years. But that's okay, as it creates an authentic atmosphere. A nice detail is the removable headrest cushions. The backseat also has seatbelts, just like the front seats. The Pallas model boasts many beautiful details that differ from the DS Confort. There's much more chrome, the seatbacks are higher, there are larger ceiling lights, brown leather loops for handles, and the door handles are set in a stainless steel plate.

The DS was delivered new as a 23 and, as with many classic cars, the engine has been replaced in the past. The current engine is a 2175 and, according to experts, this engine is the best and most reliable variant in the ID/DS series. It is surprising how much power this car has; it accelerates rapidly and has a lot of torque. The 5-speed gearbox also shifts excellently.

As mentioned, the DS has been excellently maintained. The spring balls have recently been replaced and the hydraulic system has been flushed and refilled. The car has also just undergone a full technical inspection.
