De Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider uit 1961 is een icoon uit de gouden jaren van Italiaans autodesign. Dit model, ontworpen door Pininfarina, was Alfa Romeo’s eerste succesvolle sportieve roadster in de 1.3-liter klasse. Onder de motorkap ligt de levendige matching numbers 1.3-liter viercilinder met dubbele bovenliggende nokkenassen, goed voor zo’n 80 pk. In combinatie met de handgeschakelde bak levert dit een soepel en sportief rijgedrag op. Deze specifieke auto beschikt over zijn originele motor en versnellingsbak, volledig matching numbers. De auto werd nieuw geleverd in Milaan, verbleef het grootste deel van zijn leven in een droog klimaat in Noord-Italië waar hij eind 2014 uitvoerig is gerestaureerd.

The 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider is an icon from the golden age of Italian car design. This model, designed by Pininfarina, was Alfa Romeo's first successful sports roadster in the 1.3-liter class. Under the hood lies the lively, matching numbers 1.3-liter four-cylinder with double overhead camshafts, good for approximately 80 hp. Combined with the manual transmission, this results in a smooth and sporty drive. This particular car has its original engine and gearbox, fully matching numbers. Delivered new in Milan, the car spent most of its life in a dry climate in Northern Italy, where it was extensively restored in late 2014.
