CEO of classic car insurance specialist OCC Assekuradeur GmbH is Désirée Mettraux.

The 39 year old joined the company with a wealth of experience from various areas of responsibility in the insurance industry: between 2007 and 2012 she headed the department of motor vehicles and vessels at National Suisse, based in Basel/Switzerland. In this position she held responsible for developing various motor vehicle insurance products.

Désirée's focus is digital business, for which she's also consulting the management team of Classic Trader.

The Swiss national worked as a mentor for various startups in the digital realm and is a co-founder of Swiss camper van hire portal mycamper.ch, where she's still an active member of the board.

Désirée left Creadi AG, a Basel based InsurTech startup which she co-founded in 2016 and headed as CEO since, as per 1st July 2019. The music enthusiast and mother of twins lives in Hamburg/Germany with her husband and daughters.

Dr. Ottmar Gast is Chairman of the Advisory Board of the shipping company Hamburg Süd A/S & Co KG and is amongst exercising various other mandates, a member of the Advisory Board of the Classic Trader GmbH. After studying mechanical engineering, Ottmar began his career as a development engineer at Daimler Benz AG and as Chief Engineer at the Research Institute for Operations / Logistics in Aachen. At the end of the 1980s, he headed the logistics of Mahle GmbH and then joined the management of the German Parcel Service GmbH before he found his way into the management of Hamburg Süd in 1994. As a dedicated driver, Ottmar feels at home on the racetrack rather than on regular rallies. Ottmar advises the Classic Trader management in strategic and business issues.
