Description
MG MGB Roadster, year 1964. Chassis number: GHN3L22900, engine number: 18GB‑U‑H/56139. Finished in red with a black artificial leather interior with red piping, complemented by black carpeting. Fitted with a black vinyl soft-top and tonneau cover. This attractive early MGB Roadster with pull-door handles ('spoon door') was imported from the USA by Altena Classic Service in 1999 and sold to its sole Dutch owner in 2000.
The owner has enjoyed the car immensely and is now parting with it due to age. Over the years, the MGB has received a high-quality new paint job, new interior upholstery, and a new soft-top. The car has been excellently maintained over the past 26 years. The Roadster has retained many beautiful original details, including the steering wheel and the American taillight lenses.
The car is equipped with painted wire wheels with chrome wheel nuts, extra rectangular fog lights on the front bumper, an oil cooler, and a 70s Blaupunkt stereo radio with two speakers in the rear bulkhead. The car drives and handles excellently. The MGB comes with the original US registration certificate and import documents, a history file, and a plastic hardtop.
