Introduced in 2007, the GranTurismo was designed to be Maserati's flagship model, combining elegant styling with high performance and luxury. Rooted in Maserati's racing history, and tradition of building exceptional GT cars, the GranTurismo represented a significant milestone for the company in the 21st Century. Its sleek and muscular design, penned by Pininfarina, immediately attracted attention and garnered critical acclaim. At the time of its launch, the GranTurismo was the most quickly-developed production car in automotive history, taking a remarkable nine months from design to production! With a Ferrari-derived 4.2 litre V8 under the bonnet, power is in no short supply, and Pininfarina's design is one that has stood the test of time. This example was in the care of our vendor for seven years until he passed away earlier this year. The service history is limited and he was unable to use it for an extended period of time due to ill health. Since his passing, the car has been fitted with a new battery and consequently runs very well.
