ASI certified, long-term ownership, documented history, original engine never opened
1991 BMW 850i E31 V12 manual, first registered in February 1991, finished in silver with Buffalo leather interior, electric sunroof and 233,000 km.
Rare 5.0 V12 model with 6-speed manual gearbox. The car is ASI certified, with the next road inspection due in June 2028, and is currently in use; mileage may therefore increase slightly.
The car shows normal age-related marks consistent with its age and mileage. It is not described as a concours car, but as a genuine, complete, documented and usable example.
Current owner since 2007; the car is currently on its sixth owner. It comes with the original owner’s manual, service booklet with numerous stamps, documented maintenance history and Carfax/CarVertical reports available, showing no recorded accidents.
The engine has never been opened and has never required internal mechanical work.
Recent documented work includes water pump, clutch servo/pump, ignition leads, ignition coils, headliner retrimmed using original-type fabric, fluid replacement and further documented mechanical work.
Professional repaint carried out in 2019, with documentation available.
The car comes with two sets of wheels/tyres: non-original 17” BMW Style 5 wheels with new tyres, and original BMW 16” Style 8 wheels with new tyres, now difficult to find.
