34th Techno-Classica Essen 2024 – The automotive classic world exhibition
Techno-Classica Essen 2024, one of the world’s leading classic car exhibitions, will take place from 3rd to 7th April. The annual fair features 1,250 exhibitors from more than 30 nations who will present an unrivalled variety of automotive culture. With more than 120,000 square metres of exhibition space and an impressive selection of classic cars, spare parts and automobilia, Techno-Classica Essen 2024 is a must-attend event for enthusiasts and experts alike.
Over 2,700 classic and prestige automobiles form a diverse and varied information and sales forum during the five opening days of Techno-Classica. Visitors to the trade fair can also look forward to the private vendor market in Hall 4, which is presented by Classic Trader. Private sellers benefit from this co-operation and can advertise their vehicles online for 60 days free of charge on the Classic Trader marketplace and advertise them worldwide.
Techno-Classica Essen 2024 Highlights
A glance at the anniversary calendar provides an initial glimpse of the highlights of Techno-Classica Essen 2024: Opel and the AvD (Automobile Club of Germany) are celebrating a proud 125 years of history, and Rolls-Royce has been around for 120 years – just as long as the rare Bismarck motorbikes.
Manufacturers, clubs and interest groups will be celebrating the birthdays of Bugatti and Morgan (both 115 years), Scuderia Ferrari (95 years), the BMW 315 as the brand’s first sports roadster and the Citroёn Traction Avant gangster saloon (both 90 years) – as well as the legendary Mini (65 years).
Two German icons that have made automotive history in very different ways are also at the centre of this firework display of anniversaries: the VW Golf and the Porsche Turbo. Both first rolled onto the roads in 1974 and can therefore look back on half a century.
