Beschreibung

Vintage and Prestige are proud to offer this 1934 Rolls Royce 20/25 Gurney Nutting Owen Sedanca 3 position drophead for sale.

Chassis number: GYD69
Registration number: 659YUR

Ordered new by one Stanley Morris of Blundellsands Lancs; The car carries most desirable coachwork by J. Gurney Nutting taking the form of an Owen 3 position drophead making the car very versatile for use in all weathers.

The car in the 1950's was owned by a Mr Litherland who exported the car to his home in what was then Rhodesia. It stayed there until recent years & was a well known sight on the roads of Salisbury.

In impeccable order throughout. the is finished in Masons black paintwork in show condition. To the interior is Brand new Tan leather with matching tan door cards & similar carpets. The burr walnut woodwork has likewise been removed & re-finished leaving the cabin as an opulent place in which to spend time.

The story continues under the bonnet with a well detailed engine that runs smoothly & exhibits good power & quiet operation. The car was built at the end of 1934 & has the later "cats back" style carburettor.

These Gurney Nutting Owen Sedanca 20/25's are one of the most desirable bodies made & are very versatile. This one is in impeccable condition & would fit well in nay collection of Rolls Royce motor cars.
This example has recently had over £10,000 spent on it.
