1964 | MG MGB

Very beautiful MGB pull handle, so from the beloved and sought-after 1st series. Restored and reconditioned in the past. Perfectly maintained and with piles of maintenance bills worth over € 7,100.- Imported from Missouri, rock hard and in the Netherlands for 25 years. This 1st series still beautiful and pure: the steel dashboard with the beautiful steering wheel, no rubber bumpers, no running lights, normal suspension, etc.

The B has been professionally repainted in the original MG colour ‘Iris blue’ and the quality of the paintwork is excellent. The colour is gorgeous and gives the MG extra sixties flair. There are hardly any signs of use, which is a great compliment for an older restoration. The chrome wire rims also make the car look great. The bumpers have a slight patina, but the rest of the chrome looks almost like new. The hood was recently renewed including brackets and sits snugly. The windows are nicely clear and a tonneau cover is present. The windscreen has green tinted glass, which is soothing to your eyes.

The interior is strikingly beautiful and very well cared for. The steel dashboard is completely whole and not dried out. The original steering wheel is beautiful and the gauges work as they should. The seats have been newly upholstered in the past with the correct upholstery and all the original details are correct. Not only is it a beautiful MGB, it also drives superbly. The rebuilt 4 cylinder starts instantly and has plenty of torque. The cylinder head has been modified for unleaded petrol. The revised gearbox shifts perfect. Just a top MG.

An MGB is the ideal car if you are looking for a beautiful and modern driving classic without too much expense. Proven reliable, 18 years built and with an excellent parts supply. And the chrome bumper version is timelessly beautiful, understated and thoroughly British.
