ONE OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL AMERICAN RACING E-TYPES, AND THE 2023 GOODWOOD RAC TT WINNER

One of the most historically significant and beautifully prepared Jaguar E-Types currently racing in historic motorsport, chassis 875073 is not just a car — it’s a legend on wheels, boasting a storied past, race-winning pedigree, and exceptional preparation for historic motorsport events. A centerpiece of any collection.

Originally delivered to Jaguar Cars in New York in June 1961, this Series I Roadster was soon destined for competition greatness. Acquired in 1963 by David Dooley, it dominated the SCCA circuit, racking up 15 wins, a Mid-West Division BP Championship, and even an overall victory at Lake Garnett. Its impressive career included racing against legends like Peter Revson, A. J. Foyt, Chris Amon, Bruce McLaren, Jim Hall, Bob Bondurant and Peter Gregg at events such as the International Bahamas Speed Week.

Further accolades followed with subsequent owners, including a 1974 C Production class championship. More recently, the car has competed in the Goodwood Revival RAC TT 4 times and winning it outright in 2023, with the Multiple World Touring car Champion Andy Priaulx behind the wheel.

The car was fully restored and race prepared for the then owner, World Sports Car Champion and 3x Le Mans Winner, Andre Lotterer in 2020, the process entrusted to marque experts Valley Motorsport and restored to the ultimate “Semi-Lightweight” specification.
