NEW LISTING FOR 2025: Designed, developed and built by British Manufacturer Chevron Cars. The Chevron B8 is a light weight Sports racing car. With its beautiful aerodynamic lines, regarded as the most beautiful sports car ever produced in the sixties. They were built with a number of different engine options, the BMW being the most popular. This one built originally with a Ford Cosworth engine, and painted in Maroon for a Mr David Bridges. Returned to the factory in late 1969 and then sold to Barrie Smith in 1970.Records show it was then owned by a Mr Schrieber in 1971/72 and then to Christian Rneil from France who raced it in the French Group races, fitted with a BDA engine at the time. Sold again in 1982 Chris Smith who resold to John Bradburn after a short ownership. Purchased by Richard Dodkins in 1983 and raced in the Atlantic Computers Historic GT race in 1984, a class winning car. It then went into the hands of Michael Fisher in 85. Roly Nix took ownership and raced it in the HSCC from 1986 until 1992. Racing firstly with a FVA engine and then subsequently with a 2.0ltr BMW power unit. 1993 Roly sold it back to Richard Dodkins. In 1995 Graham Goodman bought the car and sold on to Lawence Benson in March 1996. A class winning car in 1997, RJB championship Class C. Purchased by current owner in 1999, who seriously campaigned the car over the years keeping a comprehensive file of maintenance and repairs on the car. HTP’s valid to 31-12-2026
