Elegant, understated and wonderfully proportioned, it was the car that cemented Aston Martin’s reputation as a maker of truly world-class grand tourers. Chassis DB5C/1298/R is one of only 84 right-hand-drive convertibles produced, making it a very special example of an already rare model. Finished in Deep Metallic Sierra Blue, the colour shows off the Touring-designed aluminium bodywork beautifully, giving the car a calm, confident presence without being ostentatious. It starts easily, pulls cleanly and feels exactly as it should: smooth, solid and full of character.
