 Suffolk Sportscars Ltd. have been in business for over 20 years, initially dedicated solely to the production of SS100s, then C-Types, and over the years diversifying into sales, maintenance, restorative works and internationally touring a variety of classic cars that we have had the pleasure of enjoying.

 We produce around 15 new build cars a year, which are assembled in house using all new SS components or remanufactured original Jaguar parts. We are also able to prove a complete set of parts, down to the last nut and bolt, for those who wish to undertake a project at home, without incurring the problems of restoring an original vehicle such as unforeseen costs, unavailable parts and processes required which are beyond one’s facilities at home.

 We aim to carry a stock of vehicles ready for immediate international use, and these are not limited to out SS100 and C-Type models. We also carry a stock of cars for sale of enormous variety to suit all tastes and budgets.

 The company has expanded enormously from the early days where we would hope to sell just 6 vehicles a year to keep our 3 employees busy, to the present Day where we occupy over 7,500sq. ft of space for maintenance, manufacture, and sales of a number of vehicles. We also have over 10,000sq. ft of dedicated secure storage for cars, as well as a large stockpile of components which are not available new.

 Our dedicated service department is assembled from a team of fully qualified technicians who understand the nuances associated with classic and veteran motorcars, and have expertise and passion that many garages can no longer provide. Coupled with our in house manufacturing facilities we have repaired a number of vehicles without having to call on assistance from outside specialists.

 We are however not intransigent toward modern insight and technology, and have recently purchased a four wheel laser alignment system, to ensure that the vehicle in question is as much of a pleasure at the wheel as it is to behold from outside. We also outsource machining and assembly of engines and transmissions, as well as paintwork to trusted colleagues that we have used for many years.

 We benefit from dedicated facilities in house and experts with 100’s of years of combined experience, and can draw on this and our lathes, milling machines, sheet metal fabrication equipment, hydraulic and brake presses and skill of computer design to assist in more atypical projects than other specialists may be involved in. We have also reproduced and productionised a number of one off and no longer available parts, as well as finding solutions to parts shortages for owners and enthusiasts worldwide.

 We supply parts to a number of restorers of original SS cars internationally, and have had the pleasure of selling a number of original 2½ and 3½ SS100s. We also have carried out works on these vehicles, one of which was recently invited to Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance.

 We are able to supply and install exchange engines, gearboxes and differentials to any Jaguar model from 1949 – 1986, as well as being able to offer a wealth of advice on upgrades to any of these models, drawing on our years of experience and manufacture of over 300 Jaguar engine vehicles. We can carry out works and advise on 5-speed transmissions, automatic transmissions, air conditioning, electrical upgrades, tuning engines for both power and reliability, suspension and steering upgrades, interior comfort options, as well as aesthetic upgrades for those who wish to enjoy a motor car like no other.
