Beschreibung

  • This Fiat Dino 2000 Coupe is a smart example of the handsome Giugiaro-designed classic, from long-term ownership.
  • Being an earlier variant of the Dino Coupe, it is powered by an all-alloy 2.0-litre V6 engine (as found in Ferrari’s Dino 206 GT) paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.
  • The seller notes that the exterior of the car has been repainted, but that the interior is believed to be original and is said to remain well-preserved.
  • The car has been with its current owner since October 2011.
  • The odometer indicates 73,121 km.
  • Finished in an attractive colour combination of Electric Blue over beige, this Dino 2000 rides on the correct 14-inch Cromodora alloy wheels, shod in Roadstone tyres.
  • It features slim chrome bumpers, and has Fiat and Bertone badging in place.
  • Inside, the cabin is trimmed with beige vinyl, featuring ‘basketweave’ style centre panels, and features a mid-tone wooden dashboard and centre console, a correct wood-trimmed three-spoke Fiat steering, and black vinyl on the dashboard surround.
  • The car comes with a selection of maintenance invoices from 2011 to 2018, a booklet with some photographs, a Fiat Dino journal, a spare wheel, jack, and wheel spanner.
  • Please refer to photo gallery to assess exterior and interior condition.
  • Specific notes from the seller include: the car has been completely repainted, but now shows a small dent on the driver’s door, and two small scratches on the bonnet. Inside, the interior is believed to be original and the seller’s notes include slight wear on the passenger side carpet, two small tears on the rear end of the cover by the rear window, and the dashboard is showing its age and is noted to present cracking.
  • The seller notes that the driver’s side window mechanism is currently not working.
  • The seller is otherwise not aware of any electrical or mechanical faults.
  • The latest service was carried out during 2018 at 71,800 miles by a Fiat marque specialist. The work comprised of an engine oil and filter change, along with the replacement of the brake pads, front wheel bearing, solenoid valve unit, thermostat, and the water pump cover.
  • Prior to this, the seller notes the car was regularly serviced between 2011 and 2018, and notes that there are various invoices accompanying the sale from this period.

This is a tidy example of the stylish Italian coupe, with a desirable combination of Giugiaro styling and a tuneful Ferrari-designed V6 engine. The seller notes that the car presents well inside and out, and it would make a fun addition to any collection of classics, and an enjoyable weekend driver.
