Presented here is a very clean, solid and great driving example of the E12, BMW’s first-ever 5-series. Launched in 1972, the E12 was the successor of the “Neue Klasse” model. The concept proved such a hit that the 5-series is still one of the most important cars in BMW’s lineup today, and probably the genesis of the modern sports saloon.
