A very rare 90cc Vespa (speedometer in miles) that was only offered in the UK and US. 3-speed gearbox. Third owner. I bought it 5 years ago from the second owner, who had acquired it in London as a student in the early 1970s and brought it back home to Aix-en-Provence, where it remained untouched since. The engine wasn't seized and even started after 40 years of inactivity. However, it was impossible to ride in its current condition. A complete overhaul of the engine, wiring harness, ignition (converted to 12V), top end, bottom end (all converted to 125cc as the 90cc version is no longer manufactured), carburetor, exhaust, gearbox, rims, tires, ignition, forks, brakes, bulbs, tank, and seat—everything was replaced or reconditioned. Only the bodywork has been left with its superb original patina. The bent parts have been straightened and the areas with slight corrosion have been repaired. A complete restoration invoice is provided (Vintage Scooter in Graveson). All original parts have been kept in a box. The work on Vintage Scooter cost nearly €4,000 in parts and labor. It starts instantly, and everything works perfectly. A very beautiful and rare collector's item.
