Description

The Kawasaki Z1000 name first appeared in 1977 as the successor to the legendary Z1 and Z900, helping to cement Kawasaki’s reputation for producing powerful, performance-focused motorcycles. Powered by a 1,015cc inline four-cylinder engine, the Z1000 offered impressive performance, robust engineering and effortless long-distance capability. Combining muscular styling with strong road manners, it quickly established itself as one of the most desirable superbikes of the late 1970s and remains highly regarded among collectors today.

This 1978 example has covered 53,676 miles and benefits from an older restoration. Reported to run and ride well, it has been ridden recently and presents an opportunity to acquire one of Kawasaki’s most iconic and influential superbikes.
