It is with pain and regret that I am putting my Jetta up for sale. She served me faithfully for 32 years and was part of the family. I am only the second owner — the car has had just two owners in its entire life.

Honest condition:

Failed technical inspection.
10 holes in the underbody, requiring extensive welding work. The largest is about 4 cm in diameter, with others being smaller.
A note on the underbody: These holes were not originally this size. During the inspection, the inspector actively probed and scraped the metal, which opened up existing surface rust. This is a common occurrence with older cars during strict inspections. I am mentioning this for full transparency.
This is not a "ready-to-drive" car, but a restoration project for a true enthusiast.

What makes her special:

All components are original factory parts.
Original paint, despite the age.
Insurance paid until January 2027.
Only two owners since 1982.

Why not scrap:
I don't want to send her to scrap. This is a car with history and character. Perhaps someone is looking for exactly this kind of project — with soul and original parts. For a true enthusiast, she could be the foundation for a restoration.
