Description:
The Porsche 911 of the 993 series is the fourth generation of the classic 911 and was produced from the end of 1993. The 993 is considered the last ‘real’ 911 with an air-cooled boxer engine before Porsche switched to water cooling in 1997 with its successor, the 996. As such, the 993 occupies a special position - technically mature, with improved handling thanks to the new multi-link rear axle and the installed 6-speed manual gearbox, but still with the classic, purist 911 characteristics.
According to the available new car invoice, the 911 Carrera Coupé presented here was delivered to its first owner on 04.01.94 via the Porsche Centre Frankfurt. The vehicle remained in first-hand ownership for over 20 years until it was acquired by a high-calibre collection in the Stuttgart area in 2017.
