Description

1945 MGTC

Chassis Number:  TC/1365

Registration Number:  TXS194

A very nice early example produced in the first months following the end of WW2.  This car has been well maintained & looked after with the engine having been bored out to 1350cc when it was rebuilt with new pistons etc.  As a result it goes extremely well.  Twin K & N air flters are fitted to the carburettors.

The exterior red paint is in good condition thoughout presenting very well.  To the interior is very good beige leather & beige carpets.  The hood is like new having never been up during the current ownership. Knock off wire wheels are fitted all round shod with excellent tyres.  The spare is rear mounted.

The car comes with a large & interesting hisory file relating to earlier owners when it resided in Scotland.  a neat half tonneau snaps into place over the hood when down.  The engine bay is very tidy & well detailed.  It starts readily & runs cool with good oil pressure etc.

All in all this is a nice very useable example that is well sorted & has been used on fine weather days only for local outings & jaunts.  Coming with it is a spare passenger side wing.
