Model History and This Example
The quintessential English roadster, this 1958 MGA combines timeless lines with first-class mechanical preparation. Fully restored and made reliable, it represents a unique opportunity to acquire an icon in exceptional condition.
Presented in 1955, the MG A marked a radical stylistic and technical break from its T-Series predecessors. With its flowing, aerodynamic "ponton" bodywork, it propelled MG into the modern era of the sports car. Its robust chassis and reliable "B-Series" engine made it a worldwide commercial success and an enduring icon of English driving pleasure, equally at ease on country roads and in period competition.
The example we are offering has undergone a complete "concours condition" restoration in 2000 by our workshops. Very little used since, this MGA is presented in irreproachable condition. Its magnificent "Old English White" finish is enhanced by a red leather interior with white piping, creating one of the most elegant combinations. To complete the package, the engine was fully rebuilt and made reliable in 2024.
