The 1992 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster is a true classic from the popular R129 series. This vehicle combines sporty performance, luxurious features, and distinctive design, making it one of the most iconic roadsters of the 1990s.

The R129 generation was introduced in 1989 as the successor to the legendary Mercedes-Benz SL R107. Developed under the direction of Bruno Sacco, the vehicle set new standards in safety, comfort, and technology, representing a significant innovative milestone in the SL's history. The 300 SL was offered in various versions, with two being particularly noteworthy in 1992. The base 300 SL, with its powerful and smooth-running 3.0-liter six-cylinder M103 engine, was produced in significantly greater numbers and was therefore more common than the 300 SL-24 with the more powerful M104 engine.

The vehicle offered here, with the M103 engine, was purchased in 2001 by the current owner in Germany with Luxembourg registration and registered in Germany later that same year. The original deregistration certificate from Luxembourg is available. Since the car has been in our client's possession for 25 years, its history is also known.
