La Maserati Merak 2000 GT, presentata al Salone di Torino del 1977, era una versione speciale della Merak pensata per il mercato italiano, dove le tasse penalizzavano le auto oltre i 2 litri di cilindrata.
Prodotta tra la fine degli anni ’70 e il 1983, montava un motore V6 da 1.999 cc capace di circa 170 CV.
Della Merak 2000 GT furono costruiti solo 190-200 esemplari, rendendola la più rara della famiglia Merak (circa 1.830 unità totali per tutta la gamma).
Disegnata da Giorgetto Giugiaro, rappresenta un modello di transizione per Maserati, nato da esigenze fiscali ma oggi molto apprezzato per eleganza, rarità e valore storico.
In particolare, la nostra Maserati Merak 2000 GT ha beneficiato di un restauro conservativo completo, che ha interessato il telaio, la carrozzeria, il motore e tutte le componenti meccaniche e di contorno. La splendida vernice azzurra metallizzata è abbinata agli interni originali in ecopelle bianca, realizzati su richiesta del primo proprietario, conferendo all’auto un fascino autentico e senza tempo.

The Maserati Merak 2000 GT, unveiled at the 1977 Turin Motor Show, was a special version of the Merak designed specifically for the Italian market, where taxes heavily penalized cars with an engine displacement above 2 litres.
Produced between the late 1970s and 1983, it was equipped with a 1,999 cc V6 engine delivering around 170 hp.

Only 190–200 units of the Merak 2000 GT were built, making it the rarest model in the Merak family (around 1,830 units in total across the entire range).
Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, it represents a transitional model for Maserati — born from fiscal constraints but today highly appreciated for its elegance, rarity, and historical significance.

Our Maserati Merak 2000 GT has undergone a complete conservative restoration, involving the chassis, bodywork, engine, and all mechanical and related components. The stunning metallic light blue paint is paired with the original white faux-leather interior, made to order for the first owner, giving the car an authentic and timeless charm.
It comes with original black licence plates from Lecce (LE).
