    Description:
    The Jaguar Lynx Eventer is one of the rarest variants of the classic Jaguar XJ-S. The first Eventer was presented to the public in August 1982 at the British International Motor Show at London’s Earls Court, with the market launch following in 1983. British coachbuilder and vehicle specialist Lynx Engineering created this luxurious yet practical shooting brake based on the elegant Jaguar XJ-S Coupé. The extended roofline, specially crafted side windows, large tailgate and spacious luggage compartment combine enhanced practicality with the characteristic lines of the XJ-S.

    Each Eventer was built by hand with extensive craftsmanship. Between 1982 and 2002, only 67 examples were produced, including just 18 left-hand-drive cars. This makes the Lynx Eventer one of the rarest and most sought-after versions of the XJ-S range today. The example offered here was first registered in 1985. According to the plaque in the glove compartment, this is Lynx production number 045. The interior presents itself in classic British style, featuring black leather and fine wood trim. The current owner recently had the car undergo a major service. The vehicle is registered in Germany. This exceptional Eventer combines British elegance, effortless V12 character and everyday practicality with the exclusivity of a shooting brake produced in extremely limited numbers.
