The Story: A Discovery with Soul
The story of this E-Type begins like a dream: discovered while jogging in the USA in 2013, the car had stood untouched for 24 years in second ownership against the wall of a house. After persistent contact and the purchase, a revival followed that accepted no compromises. In 2018, the car returned to Germany and was perfected for use here.

Authenticity Meets Performance
This Jaguar is documented by the Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate (Production Record Trace): Matching Numbers (original engine) and Matching Colours in the classic delivery combination of Pale Primrose Yellow with black interior.

Extensive Revision & Optimization (documented by invoices):

Powertrain: conversion from the US version (2 Stromberg carburettors) to the high-performance European triple SU carburettor setup.

Transmission & Axle: for maximum touring capability, a Getrag 5-speed gearbox was installed and the axle ratio adapted to the tall European specification. The result: confident power delivery, low engine speeds at motorway cruising, and reduced fuel consumption.

Body & Exterior: in the USA, the doors were derusted/repainted and the soft top including wooden frame bows was renewed. After being brought to Germany, the floor assembly including all components was extensively replaced to make the car fit for the decades ahead.

Interior & Details: the Smith instruments were visually preserved but converted to precise VDO technology. A classic Moto-Lita steering wheel ensures perfect feel (original included).
