Description

Following the end of the First World War, the German car industry benefited from the collapse of the currency. It was able to export successfully at low prices. In return, it received stable currencies in payment for the cars. Dr Moritz Straus, majority shareholder at Horch from 1920, vigorously pushed through the car manufacturer’s strategic direction: the premium segment was to be Horch’s domain. Paul Daimler, who from July 1923 was initially chief designer at Argus, developed the eight-cylinder inline engine with two overhead camshafts.

Our Horch 350 Tourer was delivered with a seven-seater tourer body. The Hornig company in Meerane built this ‘strolling and parade car’. A contemporary photograph shows a very special passenger in this car: Reich President Paul von Hindenburg! Today, the classic car looks as good as new, having been restored by a renowned specialist firm at great expense. Perfection and attention to detail were particularly important to the owner, who is also a collector. You now have the opportunity to acquire this unique Horch 350.
