This Jolly was manufactured in 1968 and purchased by the current owner in 1978. It was first registered in the United Kingdom in April 1968. It is believed to be one of twelve examples specially built for the Jolly Hotels on Capri. The car remained in the owner's possession for many years, primarily at her home in England between 1978 and 2003.
During this period, the car was carefully maintained and repainted. The roof was also rethatched. Later, the car returned to France, where it was registered with the current French registration papers and became part of an extensive collection.
Interested buyers should note that the current Carte Grise states the first registration date as 1968, while the DVLA (the UK vehicle registration authority) records it as 1986.
After long-term private ownership, this Giardiniera Jolly is being offered on the open market for the first time in 47 years.
