In summer of 1957 the Carozzeria Ellena in Turin / Italy began to build bodies for the Ferrari 250 GT. From 1957 to 1958 only 40 bodies were manufacutred at Carozzeria Ellena - out of that only 32 as High Roof ( like this one ). Ellena strictly works with the orders from Pininfarian - who began in 1958 to manufacture bodies for 250 GT`s in their new factory in Grugliasco / Italy themselves.
Today Ellena Coupes are much sought after because very rare. This car is matching numbers and colours and did participate at the Mille Miglia in Italy in 2007.
Technique was overhauled about 5000 km ago, the 250 GT comes with Certificate from Ferrari Classiche.
