Citroën CX 25 Prestige – Rare Prestige Version from France
For sale is a rare 1983 Citroën CX 25 Prestige with a 5-speed manual gearbox and air conditioning. The vehicle comes from an estate, and while it has been in my possession since acquisition, I have only limited knowledge of its history. Therefore, I can only answer technical and historical questions to a limited extent.
The engine runs smoothly and reliably. Prior to the sale, the engine oil and spark plugs were replaced. The famous hydropneumatic suspension and hydraulic system are fully functional, and the brakes operate properly. All doors open and close correctly.
The vehicle has been inspected by a TÜV inspector. According to his initial assessment, only minor welding work on the chassis is required before the vehicle should be able to pass the German roadworthiness inspection (HU). Naturally, this assessment is not a guarantee or legally binding statement, but it may provide potential buyers with a realistic indication of the vehicle's condition.
Any rust is limited to the areas shown in the photographs. These areas have been documented in detail to provide full transparency. The vehicle is therefore offered as an honest restoration project.
The car is supplied with its original French registration documents and has never been registered in Germany. A German technical data sheet required for registration can be obtained without difficulty.
