Bugatti stands for the highl advanced technology that was known to be way ahead of its time, and Beutler in Thun, Switzerland, stands for the inimitably elegant desing of the bodywork and the perfect quality of the workmanship.

The history of this vehicle is fully known. The first delivery of this convertible, which was also originally a 4-5 seater, was made to a well-known baron in Switzerland. The second owner, a Swiss mineral water manufacturer, had the vehicle fitted with this inimitably elegant body by the coachbuilder Beutler in Thun, Switzerland, in the 1950s and had a wonderfully ease-to-use preselector gearbox installed. The engine and chassis number correspond to the delivery.

Incidentally, it is the 14th vehicle that Beuter has built.

The vehicle then travelled to the USA, where it was fully restored to the highest standard by Brian Joseph, Classic & Exotic Restorations, from 2006 to 2009. The vehicle was subsequently presented by invitation at the Concourse de Eleganz in Peabble Beach.

Die Historie dieses Fahrzeugs ist lückenlos bekannt. Die Erstauslieferung dieses, auch ursprünglich 4 -5 sitzige Kabriolet, erfolgte an einen namentlich bekannten Baron in der Schweiz. Der 2. Besitzer, ein Schweizer Mineralwasserfabrikant, hat das Fahrzeug

in den 50er Jahren bei dem Carosserier Beutler, in Thun, Schweiz, mit diesem unnachahmlich eleganten Body versehen lassen und ein wunderbar bedienbares Vorwahlgetriebe installiert. Motor/ und Fahrgestellnummern entsprechen der Auslieferung.

Es ist übrigens das 14. Fahrzeug, das Beutler carosseriert hat.
