Later in its life, this Aston Martin underwent a complete restoration by Spray-Tec Restorations in the United Kingdom—widely regarded as the world’s leading authority on classic Aston Martin restoration.

The restoration was carried out with an almost obsessive commitment to authenticity and perfection. The body was completely stripped down to bare metal and meticulously rebuilt, retaining all the correct original details. Remarkably, the car’s body proved to be in outstandingly sound condition, showing virtually no corrosion—a rarity in itself for a DB4 of this vintage. The original engine, transmission, and drivetrain were fully overhauled using factory-correct specifications and components throughout.
