Close the door and step back into the 1950s: A well-maintained and ready-to-drive 1958 "Dickholmer" – one of the last models with classic turn signals. The coveted folding sunroof makes it almost a convertible sedan... ...and driving it a truly special experience – closer to a convertible than a closed Beetle.

The car is largely original and boasts a wonderful patina, evidence of its meticulous care and relatively low mileage. The odometer reads 14,000 km – we estimate a total mileage of 114,000 km. Therefore, it remains in excellent condition – both mechanically and aesthetically. A comprehensive service was recently completed at a workshop specializing in air-cooled VWs. Among other things, the cover of the folding sunroof and the whitewall tires were replaced. With its new 6V battery, the Beetle starts instantly and reliably, and after a brief choke, runs perfectly smoothly. It responds to the throttle immediately and sounds wonderfully relaxed and confidently Beetle-like.

Our Beetle drives like a dream. Thanks to its light weight, the steering is pleasantly light and precise. The gearbox shifts smoothly, and its 30 hp engine feels far more powerful than its specifications suggest. It's a joy to drive this Beetle and enjoy its effortless nature. The Beetle is also incredibly stable—it doesn't have any unwanted noises like creaking or rattling!

Despite its 67 years, the Beetle still shows some original paint on the exterior, but of course, there are also some repainted areas. The bumpers are original and straight, but their surface reveals their age.

The interior is well-maintained, clean, and intact. Only the driver's seat backrest upholstery shows signs of wear in two places. The beautifully preserved, two-tone door panels create a truly refined interior ambiance.

Overall, a fantastic piece of automotive history: harmonious, reliable—and thanks to the folding sunroof, a real joy to drive.
