1968 | SIMCA 1200 S

This vehicle offered here was registred the first time on 10.07.1968 in Austria. The Austrian original documents, as well as the entire history of this vehicle are available.

Many of these SIMCA 1200 S were used as a basis for racing use; so also this "fighting dwarf".

Currently 175/50 R 13 Yokohama are mounted and give a powerful appearance, coupled with sufficient grip.

The engine is drilled and the power increased to about 130 hp. Of course, accordingly, the suspensions and the brake system are adjusted. Stainless steel sport exhaust, OMP sports seats, cage, tripmaster, additional instruments, sporty steering wheel complete the package. In addition, there are 4 pcs. aluminium rims with semi-slicks.

Also available is the original FIA Historic Vehicle Identity Form. As a result, this vehicle already competed in the Ennstal Rally, Spring Rally and in the Hill Claimb Rally in Stainz in 1971. In addition, over the years, other races have been noted down as for example the Bavaria Historic, the Styria Historic, several times the famous San Remo Rally, Du Var, and the Hill Climb race in Rechberg Austria.  

All races are documented, partly by stickers on the vehicle, or by entries in the FIA ​​Pass.

The bodywork is not flawless, but the technique is on the point and impressive. A perfect vehicle for an enthusiast for rare and nice sport racing cars. Not suited for people with weak nerves, rather for contemporaries with gasoline in their blood.
