1932 | Riley Nine Brooklands Speed Special

This car is part of the temporary exhibition ‘Riley Brooklands’ from 20 September to 19 October 2025 at Summer's Automobile Museum.
1932 Riley 9 Brooklands Rep. This Riley was originally delivered in 1932 as a Monaco saloon. In 2007 it was imported to  Germany, where it was subsequently converted into a Brooklands replica. The restoration took place between 2007 and 2009. In 2018 the car’s mechanics were once again overhauled, including the installation of a replacement engine and a fully restored  gearbox.

The conversion was inspired by the famous Freddie Dixon Riley Brooklands, but it is not intended as a 100% copy – instead, it carries its own unique character and charm. This car has already participated in numerous concours events as well as rally and racing gatherings. The engine is a standard Riley 9 unit with 1087 cc, lightly modified, paired with a “Silent Third” gearbox.
