This beautifully presented Porsche 911 is 1 of just 75 UK RHD Home Market SuperSports ever built, and only 26 of these were in Cabriolet form making this an incredibly sought after, desirable car. Finished in the ever popular Guards Red with Red piped Black leather, this example was supplied new on 15th February 1986 and supplied by Heddell & Deeks, Official Porsche Centre in Dorset. Equipped with the 3.2 litre flat six air cooled engine with 5 speed G50 manual gearbox, this rare car is also known as the SSE model, or Turbo-look and were built in a special build facility via the Porshe Exclusive Programme. The SuperSport M419 option included Turbo look body, Turbo rear spoiler, Turbo suspension and brakes, and the forged Fuchs alloys to complete and super look.

Our car has covered 98,000 miles from new, but interestingly most of its mileage was during the cars early life. In the cars first eleven years it covered 87000 miles with an exceptional maintenance history, and since 1997, over the last 27 years it has had gentle, typical classic car use. The impressive service history starts with three services by the supplying dealer in 1986 at 2170, 4265 and 4369 miles. Heddell & Deeks serviced the car again in 1987 at 11993 miles and in 1988 Intaporsch Cowfold serviced the 911 at 21376 before Malaya in Billinghurst stamped the book at 21701 miles. Lancaster Official Porsche Centre looked after the car in 1989 and 1990 at 26278 and 31267 miles. In 1991 the Porsche was serviced at 36929 miles and from 1992 to 1994 the 911 was in serious regular use covering almost 20,000 miles in two years with five services by a Welwyn Garden City Porsche specialist. In August 1994 City Porsche in Bow London stamped the book at 68424 miles, Autofarm serviced it in 1995 at 70989 miles and also carried out major work to include a gearbox strip and rebuild, new clutch, flywheel and replacement crankshaft seal. The Porsche then headed north to a new owner in the Westhill area of Aberdeen. Its first service in Scotland was by Porsche specialist Pitstop Aberdeen and then in 1996 and 1997 Town & Country Aberdeen Official Porsche Centre serviced the car at 77035 and 87017 miles.

In February 1998 the 911 SuperSport sold to a lady in Bury St Edmunds with the mileage at 92,000. The car stayed with this lady owner for 26 years covering super low annual mileage. MOT's record mileages at 92881, 94614, 95075, 95216, 95825, 96234, 96559, 96770, 96783, 97079, 97092, 97202, 97332 and 97498 miles. The car had a couple of periods in three year hibernation, from 2005 to 2008 and 2011 to 2014, and also two years from 2017 to 2019. In 2021 the Porsche changed hands after 26 years and was put into the hands of a Engineering Company who prepared the car at a cost of almost £3000. The 911 was serviced, and also subject to new brake pads, various brake pipes, brake hoses, new brake wear sensor, battery, new window switch, door pin kit, washer pump, front and rear gas struts and engine lid seal. Since this service the SuperSport has barely had use, so it will be freshly serviced and prepared for its next owner, and supplied with a full 12 months MOT.

C243 USS in many respects is a very original car, it's very well presented and nicely detailed throughout. The Guards Red paintwork is of a very high standard with a lovely gleam, and rubbers, trims and Fuchs wheels are all very impressive. The interior is very original and delightful, the power hood works perfectly and the car features some popular factory options to include recoil bumpers, driver and passenger sports seat electric height adjustment, power operational hood and Sport equipment. On the road the car is impressive with superb power delivery from the 3.2 litre engine, the rebuilt 5 speed G50 gearbox changes smoothly, the clutch has been replaced within the past 2500 miles and brakes and handling are impressive. Coming with its original wallet to include manuals, various booklets and service book, tool kit, original jack and what looks an unused spare wheel, this is an impressive example of a rare, highly sought after model that continue to increase in desirability.
