The Mercedes-Benz 280 SL from the R107 series is an icon among open Mercedes models. Thanks to its elegant lines, solid build quality and comfortable driving characteristics, this model has become one of the most beloved classics of its generation.
This example was first registered on 15/09/1984 and was delivered new in Germany, intended for a U.S. officer, after which the car was relocated to the United States. The vehicle was factory-equipped with a Lorinser body kit, combined with a lowered suspension and a sports exhaust, giving this 280 SL a sportier and more distinctive appearance.
Since around 2010, this Mercedes-Benz has been in the possession of the current owner and has always been lovingly and carefully maintained. Today, the car is in a good original and unrestored condition and comes with Belgian registration documents.
